Beautiful building and great history. Wonderful what the city and local businesses and volunteers do for the community. Christmas at the Depot with Santa is awesome. Especially the wonderful story reader from State farm. He does such a great job with all the kids
I love this place. You can feel the amazing history the second you walk through the door. The people working there are also very friendly!
This is a great place to visit. Especially if you are a railroad fan. Museum is free to tour. If you come on Saturdays be sure to visit the large model railroad club which is open from 11:00AM-4:00PM and located at the station. Rail traffic varies but on average 3-10 trains pass by during normal hours. Railroads include Canadian National, Great Lakes Central & Huron & Eastern. Several decent places to eat in downtown Durand which is just across from the tracks. Station is also decorated and lit during the Christmas season. A must if you have kids or like to tour historic places.
This place is always wonderful. Night with Santa never disappoints. Still many of folks that still board the train here everyday. Lots of parking and close to some very good pizza and shopping.
Nice restored depot that's an actual active Amtrak Station. Great place for watching trains. Very active tracks with an excellent viewing area.
